SO like the title stated, really dumb question about ovulation tests. The directions say the test line needs to be darker than the control line.
Is the test line going to show up no matter what???
On preg test it would only show up if preg, if the test line shows up on ovul test are you automatically ovulating? Or does it have to be darker?

A line always shows up for OPK, it has to be darker than the control line for it to be a positive.

There’s almost always going to be a second live on an opk. The test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line to be considered positive.

Yes it will always show up! It will be fainter than the control line until it’s positive.

I’m living proof that a 2nd line doesn’t always show up, but the other ladies are correct. In order for it to be positive, it MUST be darker then the control line. 🙂
