You know, you can buy a loose stone on that site, I think.  Then you could just find a recycled gold setting you like somewhere else and voila!

Can I see a pic of your wooden rings?  Sounds cool!

Oh!  I love the bands you have now, but I understand the sparkle need!

I’m not sure if MoissaniteCo can use recycled gold, but we got my set made by a local jeweler.  He used my grandmother’s gold from her engagement ring and melted it to create mine.  I love it!!!  The center is a an unenhanced moissanite.  He works with moissanite a lot and has a good Charles and Colvard supplier.  I would check into local jewelers in your area to see if they can do something similar.

Here’s my grandmother’s set (I only used the e-ring)

And here’s my e-ring

OMG I LOVE these!! How beautiful and elegant.  I’m a total tree hugger and these are just so pretty and natural.  Totally jealous!

I have to admit I have major moissanite envy too!  I absolutely love my sapphire and definitely don’t want to replace her–I just also really want some moissanite jewelry now, too!  I’ve hinted at the future Mr. that a wonderful anniversary gift would be some super sparkly dangly moissy earrings…. 🙂  I wear earrings way more than rings (I have 5 holes in my ears lol) so I think I’d wear earrings more than another ring…

I have massive moissanite-envy! I have a cute little ruby e-ring and I love it, butttttttt…. I have a mild obsession with the tiffany-inspired 0.66 ct solitaire on moissaniteco! (feeling a little guilty about that haha)

@ThunderBunny: Those bands are amazing! Wow!

I totally understand your sparkle lust.  I used to have a band (it wasn’t plain but it had tiny diamonds I really love it but it was much too uncomfortable for me to wear, especially after my son came along and honestly, I craved a little more bling! LOL!).  So I am now the proud owner of a moissanite ring! I LOVE it! Having an ethical ring was VERY important to me too, (my old ring had diamonds, but they were recycled).  I am SO glad I discovered moissanite! Now I can have pretty sparkle without worrying if someone was killed for my diamond. Diamond owners, please don’t jump down my throat for saying that, I understand that they are trying to make the diamond industry more ethical.

Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide to do.  If I were to ever wear just a band again, I would want something like yours! They are stunning!!

Here are a couple pics of my ring.  I’ve posted it on a couple other threads already but I couldn’t resist posting it again.  Wink I can honestly say this is the first piece of jewelry that I LOVE!! I’ve never felt this way about jewelry either!

I love moissanite too!  I have diamonds but seriously might want some moissanite solitaire earrings!

all a gorgeous stone is, is a rock that does really great under pressure!

Hats off to all the ladies with the lovely rings!

I love both moissanite and wooden rings. I have a diamond, which I love too, don;t get me wrong. But I have this secret hippy side, no offense, that really would have adored a wooden ring. Cest la vie!

@ThunderBunny: You can buy a loose stone and put it into any setting you want. I’ve been engaged since Nov and I still visit moissaniteco.com. ^_^ I’m looking for a right hand ring and also a bracelet. Your wooden rings are amazing! I love what they mean to you.
