haha, I think I might get a stunt double wooden wedding ring, for camping, and work, etc. They have some amazing ones out there, like yours! Do you find that they are durable?

@Cash000: Mr. DG’s wedding ring is wood and titanium and the wood cracked the other day.  He has a stunt ring that he wears when we go camping etc so as not to damage the wood… so I don’t think wood is a good alternative for high activity events.

Basically only because of weddingbee, I’ve learned about moissanite- I had never even heard of it before. I still have never even seen it in real life, but I’m completely sold !! There are some stunning rings on here! I never get tired of looking through moissaniteco.com- recently I’ve been fantasizing about a pair of cushion cut 1/2 ct stud earrings for my wedding day 🙂 Crossing my fingers & hinting around…. I love your wooden band! I love all things tree inspired! I looked everywhere for a nice wood band but happily ended up with this 1ct moissanite recycled rose gold cast from a willow twig (so its like wood Wink

@ThunderBunny: I was browsing ashadiamonds.com and came accross this link about recycled gold and thought back to this thread. I know you posted this thread quite a while ago but I didn’t know if you had found a site offering recycled gold yet or not? Hope this could be of some help!

Figured I’d chime in here and add that Brilliant Earth can also make custom rings with moissanite.  They use recycled metals and support ethical, labor- and environmentally-friendly practices.

I wouldn’t change my diamond e-ring ever but I love seeing moissanite! Didn’t know anything about it until I joined the Bee. It’s quite rare over here but you can get rings in Littlewoods (not sure what the US equivalent is). My fiance doesn’t know what it is! The only other ring he’s going to get me is my wedding ring and poss an eternity ring if I’m lucky, so a lovely moissanite right hand right is out of the question but I might ask him for some earrings or a necklace! xx
