She is probably just under a lot of pressure and stress right now. I would just giver her some time, unless you are completely turned off! Luckily you have some time until your wedding !

I would strongly consider looking for a backup option.  And I’d stop communicating with her via text message.  It sounds like she doesn’t take this role professionally and doesn’t have a good idea of how to respond to a ‘client’.  Are you paying her for the service?  Did you draft up any sort of contract?  She may not consider this a ‘real’ gig until she has cash and contract in hand.

It also sounds like she’s trying to back out (“if you wanna go with somone else then fine i understand!”).  Maybe she has overbooked herself and just realized it.

I’d suggest talking to her face to face, and be prepared to look for another singer.

For the first singer it all depends on how long you gave her to learn the song. I don’t think she was blowing you off she might just have had alot on her plate. If you really liked her I would definitely give her another shot. The second woman was a little rude. I wouldn’t hire someone if they won’t sing infront of me first.

@Eva Peron:

Agreed. That sounds just like a very stressed out response. If you were impressed with her…give her another chance…..but yes, you have a right to be peeved!
