Are you on BC? If yes, you could always just skip it for one month. If no, well that kind of blows. ๐Ÿ™

ETA: I just noted that you said it was going to be your first time, so I assume you are not on BC. Just play it by ear, that’s my advice. No matter what, you and your new hubby will have a romantic and wonderful time…
Stress wreaks havoc on your system which is likely why you were late this month. Just try and relax and take things one day at a time!

Since it will be your first time, you two probably won’t want to do everything the first night anyway.  Take your time and explore, there is a lot of time to get things done so don’t feel the rush to no longer be a virgin the night of your wedding.

I track my periods, and even if it’s a day or three (or even a week, that one time) late, the next one almost always shows up when it’s predicted to.

You could always use Instead cups, so you can still have wedding night festivities.

@surkim:  Probably too hard to use if it is her first time.

Well to be maybe a little too honest, there might not be much difference between your first time with or without your ‘friend’ as far as cleanliness is concerned.

Just wanted to chime in that I’m in the EXACT same situation. My Fiance asked if I could get on BC but I’m uncomfortable with it. I’m so frikken worried… not only because it will postpone our “first night” (which the poor guy has been waiting forever for), but also because that means that there is a good chance that I will be EXTRA weepy and tired on my wedding day, and grumpy on the honeymoon.

Currently, my plan is to get EXTRA stressed before the wedding, and maybe thatll change my fate lol!
