@Rileyxoxo3:  thats great!!!! i was totally thinking about this before and was going to say its really best not to call the salon because i imagined them telling you that since you left the store with the dress, you have no proof what caused the smell.

Well if the bridal salon isn’t air conditioning no wonder she had an odor, obviously you’re going to sweat if there’s no a/c, this summer has been crazy hot! Glad it seems like airing it out worked.

Phew! I am glad it worked out (and involved no super-awkward conversations).

I was going to suggest that if there is a weird smell from the rain/musty storage, a bowl of vinegar is said to soak up LOTS of odors, so that could work as well (don’t put it on your dress, just in the same room/area to absorb the smell). Seems like you’re good to go, though!
