I have NO idea… the only thing I can relate to here is what we think was an ovarian cyst. Much like you, I had really bad, sharp pain and was crying within seconds… even had to take the day off the next day because I couldn’t walk around. Went to the doc, they did all kinds of scans, and didn’t come back with anything :/ What we think happened is I had a cyst, and my hubby burst it, and that’s where the pain came from. That’s also why they couldn’t find anything in the scans (since it was already gone).

You sound like you have a lotttt more symptoms that what I’ve heard is the norm for pregnancy.. I hope everything turns out alright when you go to the doc!

If you’ve got 2/2 negative, there’s like a 99.5% chance you’re not pregnant. False negatives DO happen, but not twice in a row when you’re 13 days late; they’re supposed to be accurate before you even expect your period.

Head into your obgyn and find out what’s up. If you’re having pain during sex, it wouldn’t be related to being pregnant, but could be an indication of another (potentially serious) problem that needs medical attention! Don’t put it off!

It sounds like a cyst possibly.  I hope you find a doctor that takes you seriously.  Ones who just brush you off, make the good ones look bad.

@octohands:  Really bad cramps and deep pain during sex are symptoms of endometriosis, but it’s weird that it would come out of nowhere like that IMO.

@Peacockfeather:  I’m going to respectfully disagree. I waited until the day my period was due, took a HPT (first morning pee), and it was negative. Celebrate! Waited 4 days, still no period. Made an appt with PP, got a test 2 days later. Negative! Celebrate! Then waited a few more days. Finally made an appt with my PCP. She sent me for bloodwork. 2 days later I found out I was pregnant.

When in doubt, see your doctor and get bloodwork done.

(BTW, I’m from Kingston, ON originally. Love that town!)

you should probably just get some tests done… good luck!

@SeaSalt:  My point was that it’s been 13 days. If it purports to be accurrate a mont before you actually end up taking it and is negative twice, I’m still gonna say not pregnant but in serious need of a doctor, regardless!

I love Kingston, too. Was just thinking today that it’s really the closest to living in the Maritimes that you can get without actually being there! Now to talk FH into staying…

@Peacockfeather:  Are you from the Maritimes? I’m on the East Coast now. the Kingston Waterfront is just as nice as any waterfront in Nova Scotia as far as good land use and planning goes. When I go “home” (I have no family there now, and few friends left there) I think that cities like Halifax could have really learned from Kingston’s example.

Anyhow, I was 12 days late by the time I went to PP, and it was still negative. When I got the bloodwork results back I was appx 7 weeks! My Fi is fixed, but if I was ever in the same position again in the future, I’d have gone to a PCP sooner (1 week after missing my period)

@octohands:  Then you could definitely have endometriosis.  I’d mention your history of painful cramps to the doctor.
