You may also want to see if the special cartridges for the printer can accept an ink injection system – basically you inject additional ink into the cartridge before it runs out, and it’s still able to print.
I haven’t tried it but it’s inexpensive and many people can get it to work.

And also look into sign printers… it may be easier to print what you want with them as they don’t print on typical printer’s paper.

What’s your printing budget?  And could you post edited pictures of your invites?  FI is a graphic designer and said that he’d happily take a look and see if he can come up with a suggestion.

@MrsWinTraining2014:  I have to give another thumbs up for AdoramaPix. I created a wedding photo album and all the wedding pictures on the walls.

I would suggest Adorama as well, I’ve used them several times for prints and photo fliers. 5x7s are 69 cents and I believe shipping is only $7
