it looks like they’re just two paper fans glued/taped together at the flat end?

I guess fold a piece of paper like an accordian, fold that in halfand take tape together at the seam (where the folded ends meet), repeat that with another piece of paper, and tape those together.

Let me try and make this… hold on…

@kaitywait: actually, I was thinking about this a little more…

You can be really fun with it by using difference colors, taping 4 quarters together. But, I think the paper HAS to be in a whatever ratio standard 8.5×10 paper is, otherwise I think you’ll end up with odd shapes.

Thanks for this! I think I”m going to use Christmas paper and hang these from the ceiling for the holidays!

Those are so much fun and SUPER easy to make. I just use very long strips of paper, and continually fold/score in accordian style. Then I just glue each end together and voila – an accordian pinwheel!

(Not a great photo, but I made some for my Halloween banner!)

Yes! I actually measured between each space to score and fold, too… but I tend to be anal/perfectionist and it took a ridiculous amount of time. Looked super crisp and perfect, though!
