My “Dream Wedding” would have actually been cheaper than what my actual wedding was! If I had it my way we would have eloped and just hosted a nice dinner afterwards. Oh well, our wedding was fabulous anyway!

My dream wedding was always just us in a gorgeous location with me in a beautiful gown and great photos.  And cake.

I can honestly say i had my dream wedding. It was what i had envisioned as a little girl. We must have spent between 90-100K altogether. It was exactly what i had pictured from location, decor, food, etc etc etc. Having said that though, a number of things that were out of my control went wrong. My celebrant was 50 minutes later. The lead singer of the best band money could pay for was a no show. The serving staff of insanely expensive hyped up venue were terrible. We had gate crashers. We had freakishly windy weather (despite being the best time of year to get married)

All in all i had my “dream” wedding and i am so glad but just to all brides, you can plan things to a perfectly and still have things have F up on you.

My dream wedding would have been like 100K with 200 guests in an ultra-fancy ballroom!

I think I would have had a full open bar for my dream wedding instead of just beer and wine.  Maybe a few more options in food.  But I loved my wedding, it was as close as one could hope for a dream wedding.

I dont think my dream wedding would mean I have to spend a certain amount of $ but we did love our wedding and spent over $60k in NJ and it was easy to do that. I dont care whT others spend or dont spend.

I think my DREAM wedding would have been in the city at an amazing venue with transportation for all guests and a great photographer capturing every moment! OR on a beach in Fiji or somewhere. Lol

I never thought about a “dream wedding.”  I never even thought about my wedding as a little girl!

The only thing I really would have changed to make it more like my drean wedding would be the food. I had an extremly low budget ($4000 for total wedding with 150 people) and had to figure out how to feed that many people at that price. I ended up having a few friends run some BBQs and we just did hamburgers/veggieburgers potato salad, pasta salad and corn on the cob. i also had a group of about 20 friends bring some really great appies. Really it turned out nice but if we were talking dream weddings I deffinitely would have had a big and well varied buffet with many servers to make it all run smoothly with no stress of planning it.

All in all, it really was my dream day

I’m not yet engaged but my dream wedding would look exactly like this….

I’m worried though that with it will turn out like this considering how much money we want to spend…

My dream wedding is to walk up to my fiance get married and walk down the aisle with him as a married couple. I dont care about all these frills of our wedding. I only care because I want my family and friends to share the special day with us. Other than that. The only thing I want is to marry my future husband,

@brokeninnj:  Dream weddng = nice dinner with our closest family members (we have small families) then travel around the world.  I had a very small wedding to begin with, but I think if I were to do it again I would not wear a wedding dress.  I would probably buy a nice dress for dinner, hire a kick ass photographer (major regret from my wedding; bad photography), and then be able to hire a photographer in each country we visit so that we have nice pictures together.  I would probably visit Germany, Netherlands, Brussels, Russia, Ireland, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Cambodia and end at a very nice beach location (the Caves in Negril, Jamaica)to relax after all that travelling.  Seriously, if I had had 100k+ at my disposal, that’s what I would have done.

@brokeninnj:  My dream wedding was having all my family celebrate my union while not being surrounded by the desert, yuck! We had a family only event in a gorgeous location in the woods 🙂

I don’t have a dream wedding.  I thought it would be to go to a courthouse.

Then I realized that I want to wear a dress, have pictures with FH and I and our family all on one day.

Dad wants us to have a South Florida Beach Wedding, FH wants a mountain river wedding.

I could care less about the location or the details (except that I want it to be specific to us and our hobbies, etc).  I’ve spent a lot of time on Pintrest and in the Hive and there have been some lovely things here but..nothing really stands out as ‘dream wedding’ because my FH and I aren’t in any of the pics!! Tongue Out
