bippidyboppidyboo :  I am using “A Great Mix DJ”. My sister used him and recommended it.  He is doing my reception for 700 bucks.  He is not in the philly area but was willing to drive to my down town center city wedding.

Is that $2,000 for both, or each?

Blue Root Entertainment – Get DJ and owner of the company named Cleveland to DJ your wedding.  5hrs is $1,000. He did an excellent job at our wedding and he is organized and passionate about his job you can tell.

njbride1102 :  You’re speaking of No Macarena, correct? We have hired them for our wedding and they’re great! If OP is trying to stay under $2000 for both the DJ and photographer, though, it will be hard to do. Our fee for No Macarena is just about $1,000–and I never came across a photographer in Philly for $1,000.

ironmaidelah :  yes that’s correct! DJ was super easy to work with, got along great with the other vendors, and everything ran so smoothly.

Yea, it’s hard for both. I think depending on what’s more important, OPs best bet is to do DIY DJing with speakers and set playlist.
