@KS240030:  “reasonable” is a relative thing; what’s reasonable to me may be a different thing than what is reasonable to you. Maybe include your budget here so people can more accurately respond?

What I have found, though, while researching DC-area limos, is that most have very attractive rates per hour, BUT they require a 4- to 5-hour minimum rental.  So that $100/hour ends up being a $500 rental.

I picked Reston Limousine for mine (we are getting 2 mini-busses to take a total of about 55 people from hotel in DC to venue in Old Town, wait for the 4.5 hour event, then take the guests back, and we are also getting 2x 6-person limos); they were not the cheapest but they did seem competitive. What made me choose them was a big fleet, so I don’t have to be worried about the limo breaking down and them not being able to swap one in (there are a lot of mom-and-pop shops in the area that advertize really low rates but I’m not keen on booking someone’s only mini-bus), and they have a nice cancellation window, it’s either 2 or 7 days but whichever it is, I couldnt’ find another company that would let me get that close to the event and still cancel for a full refund of my deposit. While I’m not planning on cancelling the wedding, my guest count is not solid and I might drop one of the shuttle busses or something.  I think my total for the 4 rentals and a 5-hour window was around $3k but I’d need to dig out the reciept to be sure.

We got a sweet deal from Dulles Limo for our guest transportation from Front Royal to our wedding site in Hume, VA (a 30 minute ride). We got price quotes from Reston Limo and Chariots for Hire – but they were both substantially higher.

We’re getting two 25-person mini buses to pick our guests up at the hotel; one will leave after drop off, and the other will idle all evening (6 hours) to take guests back periodically. The total (taxes, gratuity, etc) came out to less than $1200.

We’ve used their regular limo services before and were pleased, so we’ll see how things go with the buses!
