Has anyone here done a NYC brunch?

I’m trying to do an NYC brunch (on a Friday) to help the budget a wee bit! Planning for 100 guests for 2018. So far the best options I’ve found are Tribeca Grill, Lady Mendl’s Tea Salon, and Lafayette… I don’t think any of these will be under 150 pp with food and drink, but if you limit the bar-time, you could do better perhaps!

Following this thread now in case anyone has other ideas for a Friday afternoon lunch / brunch for 100 people!

Angela Friedman :  Are you only doing Manhattan? I looked into Juliette in Brooklyn. Are you looking to buy out the whole place?

Angela Friedman :  Have you asked Bryant Park Grille.  A friend had their wedding there and said that the brunch rates were very reasonable.  Separately, we are looking at Central Park Boathouse (Loeb) and it is surprisingly reasonable for a NY stalwart.  You may find a bargain for a daytime wedding there.
