@MrsPanda99:  not sure of your age? I am in my 40’s and going through menopause already so do not get many periods at all anymore…thankfully:) My Mum also went through this in her early 40’s.

@MrsPanda99:  Ah, I see. I’m not familiar with the healthcare system in Canada. Do you have to go to a GP and only to specialists if the GP gives you a referral? If your GP doesn’t seemed concerned about your MIA period, I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. If you are still concerned, though, are you able to get a second opinion? (Now I’m just curious about the Canadian system.) 🙂

Time to change your pill—even after months of years of a pill being okay, you can end up missing periods or (even worse, trust me) having periods every 2 weeks or 2 week long periods!!! It might even be good to give your system a break inbetween stopping the old pill and starting a new one as long as you use another method of BC….

Check into an ovarian cyst.

I didn’t know I had one until it ruptured and I thought I was dying. Turns out, that bad boy is the size of a damn tennis ball (or baseball, I forget) and has been hanging out in there for years. BF calls it my “ticking time ovary.”

Really, though: it causes all SORTS of period issues, and lots of women never know they have one until it blows up.

@MrsPanda99:  No worries. It’s interesting to hear about. I can’t believe it takes so long to receive services! What a bummer. :-/
