I love recaps!!! Very excited to do my own 🙂 Our wedding went perfectly. I diy’ed my hair, makeup, 14 bouts, my bouquet, bm’s bouquets and all ceremony decor! My bouquet has dried baby’s breath that Darling Husband gave me for our first dating anniversary that I saved. I got my dress on sale at Ann Taylor for $40! We were on a budget so all you see here was done for under $7500ish, that includes an open bar for 90 people! Ceremony was in MIL’s church, reception at a brewery. We did a stand up reception with beer and heavy apps, 3 hours long. There was also a slideshow of Darling Husband and I playing throughout the whole night that was a HUGE hit. Without further ado, our November, budget, simple, indoor wedding. Hope you enjoy 😀 ( all photos by leighanncobb.com <3 )

madmaxshannah: Thank you! I was originally going to use the babys breath in my hair but am so glad I changed my mind. My bouquet will be a keepsake in so many special ways 🙂
Kellym84: Thank-you so much! It is definitely a fear that everything will look ‘cheap’ so that means a s;lot! Wesplurged where we could and just cut A LOT of corners!
ClassicCorvette: Thank you 😀 The photo was taken where they brew the beer! The catering coordintaor snuck us back there, too cool!
MstoMrsH: Thank you thank you thank you!! 🙂
jofits: Aww how cool you remember the dress! I was nervous about it! Thank you for the compliment and well wishes!

Wait, you killed me at the baby’s breath you saved from your first dating anniversary. Too freaking precious!! You did an amazing job DIY’ing everything. I would never know if you didn’t say! Congratulations!

TaraMay_: Thank you 😀 Amazing compliments! I tend to be very sentimental. There is actually a story behind the bouts, as well. There is a bible verse that refers to there being 3 strands of a relationship, you, your partner and God. Without the third strand (God, or whatever you believe really!) the rope (reationship) would not be held together as strongly. So the two stalks of wheat represent Darling Husband and I and the twist around them represents God. All the bouts were identical for that specific reason.
p.s. I still have the rose from our 1st anniversary also but red didn’t go with my vision lol
