Finally found the time to do this! A teaser of our pics are posted on our professional photographer’s blog:
http://www.benengphotography.com/blog/2013/07/25/sarah-and-jasons-ouray-wedding/
Our wedding was infused with some Vietnamese and general Asian aspects to honor my heritage. Other than that we kept it as Colorado as possible (…because that’s who we are). The whole thing was a BLAST!

Just lovely, so nice with the traditional touches!
And how did it all work from a logistical viewpoint, did people survive the trip up the mountain and the lack of facilities? 🙂

Thank you, everyone!
@eocenia:
Ha, you remembered!! (sorry if this shows up weird – my work’s browser isn’t letting me reply the normal way).
The “lack of facilities” at the ceremony site was a non-issue (we had warned our guests far in advance and they all still showed up). Our Jeep drivers had offered to take people to a nearby Forest Service outhouse if needed, but I don’t think anyone took advantage of this except my mom. But she was unconcerned about its condition as she, like everyone else, was just in awe of the incredible scenery.
Even DH’s parents, who were originally very skeptical about our plans until the moment they arrived, loved the whole thing and are still raving about it every time we’ve seen them. Other guests have only expressed delight and enjoyment!

@sarahuccs: Of course I remembered, it was one of the funniest wedding bee threads ever! I’m very glad to hear that it all worked out, that all your guests attended and that no one burst while attending the ceremony. 🙂
And I think I would have forgotten about pretty much anything and everything had I been in the spot you got married, absolutely just gorgeous!

Such a gorgeous setting! I want to get married in the mountains too but I don’t think Southern California mountains can beat Colorado mountains by a long shot! Very, very beautiful! 🙂

AHHH beautiful! I love your ao dai and that’s awesome your husband was into the idea of wearing an ao dai himself! The whole wedding looked gorgeous and your dad’s expression in that picture of him giving the speech is priceless. Totally reminds me of my dad. 🙂

Your wedding was beautiful! I love the fact that your husband tried to match you by wearing traditional attire as well. My co-worker is Vietnamese and only his wife and the other women wore traditional attire to his wedding, he wore a suit! I told him I was expecting him to be dressed as such but then I remembered he’s a bit on the frugal side. Congratulations!
