Our wedding took place on June 17th at the Dana Powers Barn in Nipomo, CA and it was like a dream!! Our inspiration was a rustic/chic/elegant/DIY wedding. Our wedding trailer is here and gives you an overall picture of the day. Our photographer, Megan Keating, did a fantastic job!! I am going to be sharing photos of our wedding over a couple of recaps. I also want to thank the other bees here. I didn’t post a lot on the boards or the blog, but I got SO many ideas, both DIY and insipration, for our wedding from this wonderful site and all of the bees and other members. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
My mom lacing up my dress
After finally getting my dress all on with my BMs
Putting on my earrings
I loved my hair and make up!! It was done by the Queen’s Bees
We picked the lavender ourselves and DIYed the bridesmaid’s bouquets. We ordered the bridesmaid’s dresses from The Radical Thread Co on Etsy and I was so happy with the quality!
We exchanged letters around a corner before the ceremony. I loved this part of the day
My handsome hubby!
My Mother-In-Law and SIL putting my veil on. My Mother-In-Law made it for my SIL to wear on her wedding day and it was my something borrowed

I love your hair! Especially the little braid. Can I ask how long your hair is when it’s down?

STUNNING! Your dress is gorgeous and I am in love with that veil!! Just stunning. 😀 Congratulations to you both!

@Edelweiss: My hair is down to the middle of my back (past my sholder blades) and thick. I definitely don’t have a shortage of hair to work with and at one point during my trial the woman doing my hair was trying to figure out where to put all my hair. I showed her this picture of Kate Middleton as my inspiration, just so you have that as well
Hope that was helpful!

@centralcoastbride: Thanks! I have super long, thick hair, too. I’ve been trying to find up-dos that would work. I pinned your hair picture to my Pinterest board! 😀

@aoneil225: Thanks! I actually bought it from the store I bought my dress from in Salem, OR but I think it is avalible online. I found the bracelet and necklace I wore, but haven’t found the necklaces. It was actually three strands of pearls, but I only wore two. I would caution you though, the bracelet snaged my dress because of the pava spheres.
http://www.megweddingjewelry.com/amina-necklace/ This necklace is similar, but not the same one that I wore.
Hope that was helpful!
@pengoala: Thanks! I loved the veil as well!! I knew once I was marrying my Darling Husband that I wanted to borrow it! Even before I picked my dress!!
Thanks for all of your sweet comments bees!! You all are so great!
