- Wedding: June 2012
Our reception was held in the barn at the Dana Powers Venue and it was my dream venue!! We had such a fun night celebrating with all of our friends and family! It was a night to remember for sure and I was so happy that we had so many people dancing with us!
All pictures were taken by the lovely Megan Keating! If you pin one of our pictures PLEASE give her credit in your text! It would sadden me so much to see her pictures going around pinterest without her getting credit.
We had our first dance right after we were introduced. We danced to Lady Antebellum’s “Our Kind of Love” and did a kind of dance called West Coast Swing that we learned while we were freshmen in college. (You can see some of our dance in our wedding trailer video)
Listening to the BM’s toast after dinner
Cutting our cake
We got each other messy, but were nice about it
For the reception all us girls changed into our boots!
MY Darling Husband and I got to know each other going country line dancing, so we of course had to have a few songs of line dancing at our wedding! Lots of our friends go as well so we had a pretty good crowd out on the dance floor line dancing!
For the garter toss we played the song Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off by Joe Nichols. The song pretty much follows the title, so we both took shots of patron out of the BM’s flask before my Darling Husband got the garter.
LOVE this picture! The mirrors are part of the venue and they make me swoon!
Ribbon wand exit! My mom and I made all of them and used tutorials here on the bee!
So that was our day! I have some other pictures I am going to post of the details and all my DIY projects because I know how you bees can really appriciate all of them!
Thanks for looking at our pictures!
