- Wedding: May 2010
We reached the point in the evening of celebration. We exchanged our vows expressing our love and then took portraits will all our family and friends, and now, it was time to enjoy the hard work we went through to plan this thang!
First, wedding party introductions:
They introduced my sister (MOH) by herself because the best man was introduced with my husbands mother as the father of ther groom AND best man. She got the spotlight for a second… 😉
And now, introducing, Mr. And Mrs. TRIMBLE!!! (no more GOULART here!) ((PS – I hate this photo…) ech
Kevin’s neice had no problem running up for hugs as were introduced. Loved it!
You can’t tell from all the flashes above, but the candlelight made the room seem romantic with the fishtank in the back ground:
Then it was time to eat. The caterers were awesome
(Argyles Restaurant, Kittyhawk, NC)
Then a few toasts (we didn’t catch Kevin’s dad on camera but my girls did so good.)
After toasting, and a few bites of food, it was time to cut my gorgeous cake. It was plain, simple and exactly how I imagined it (sitting atop my homemade stand! oh, you like that? I’ll sell it to ya… well, If i can find it…) ahahaha
Mmmm white chocoloate raspberry. The other flavor we had was chocolate gran marnier… droolllllling on my keyboard. *nom nom nom*
Even though we didn’t manage a whole piece, I ate leftovers the next day. Yummmmm. And we didn’t save our top tier, we needed it to serve but snatched a couple pieces to freeze so no worries!
Up next, we dance the night away!!! 🙂
