That sapphire is amazing. I think it’s a beautiful choice. If you feel the scrolls are too much would your Fiance be happy with you changing the setting/side accents? Budgets permitting of course. That sapphire of yours would look great like this l

that said, yours is already very beautiful and personally I think there’s some sentimentality to keeping the ring he proposed with as your forever ring.

Congrats, Bride to Bee! I was eyeing some sapphires when I was e-ring shopping, myself.

I agree with UKBee and would go to a three stone (trilogy ring) rather than a halo, if I was going to reset the center stone. But, tbh, I’d just look for another trilogy ring altogether, maybe for the first anniversary, and then stack whichever one I felt like at the time.

Bling!

I love it!! I has a timeless modern look to it. I love saphires! But I am biased since I have one. 🙂

The color of the sapphire is out of this world stunning. However, I can see how the scrolls might seem a bit much, and you might get tired of them quickly. I think the sapphire would really shine in a split shank diamond halo.

Maybe something like this, but with the sapphire as the center stone instead of a diamond obviously, and either a plain or pave shank depending on your taste.

The only question here is

“do you like it”

if the answer is yes- don’t worry about anything else.

I have a black diamond and never once did I consider anything other than – this makes me happy and it’s beautiful.

Gorgeous! Personally I love the scrolls. And if it really feels too fancy for every day, when you get married you can just wear a band and save it for date nights and special occasions.

It’s gorgeous! As far as being ”too fancy” , I think at first, literally anything is going to feel like too much, give it some time to see how you feel once it feels normal to have on all the time. 🙂

Looks wonderful on your hand by the way!

I have some serious envy going on right now. That is a spectacular ring. Classic, beautiful, unique.

UK-bee:  Where did you find that photo? Is that ring actually on a website and for sale? Because WOW.
