That is not small in any regard no matter what size her finger is =) it will give her plenty of finger coverage being a 4.5 it’s beautiful and I am sure she will love it!

You can use this website too, to kind of get an idea https://www.diamdb.com/

I put in the specs and this is roughly what it will look like!

My fiance thought the same thing when he opened up the ring box! I’m a ring size 6 and he got a 1.3 carat oval. He freaked out, but then slid it on his finger and realized how big it actually was.

it always looks smaller in the box. She has even smaller fingers than me, it will look great on her hand! Promise!

Oh my lord! That ring is too die for. The emerald cuts are timeless in my opinion. I love them!

Rings do always look small in the box, and when you first get them.  You spend so much time shopping and evaluating and calculating specs and have an image in your mind, and then you see it and it seems like a lot of effort for something so small!  My ring is 1.25c with a halo and it seemed small in the box at first, but seems very large on my hand.  Don’t worry – you did not get ripped off!

I wouldn’t recommend giving it to a co-worker to try on.  Not at all.  I’m sure nothing wil happen to it, but I’m superstitious and wouldn’t want any ole woman trying on MY ring dammit!  Years ago, I helped a friend pick out a ring for his soon-to-be fiancee, and he wanted me to try it on in the store when we went to pick it up.  Nooooo!  I refused because I thought she should be the first and only one to have that ring on her finger.

“It looks so small!”  –  said anyone who has ever bought a diamond lol. It’s not small, it’s just that it costs a lot of money for the size. She’s going to love it.

It’s totally normal to think the ring looks small when you first see it, especially if you were looking at lots of zoomed in pics while diamond-shopping.  You’re used to looking at diamonds that have been enlarged to be the size of a saucer!

theresident :  its lovely and it’s a fabulous size. The only thing I can think of that might be throwing you off as to your expectations, is the length to width ratio of the diamond. It seems like a longer and slimmer emerald cut which I personally love. A lot of emeralds you typically see online are built like me, short and wide. 😂

Honestly OP, It really is gorgeous! Your other half will be thrilled! Great pick!

Wow! That emerald cut looks stunning! And yes I get what you mean with it looking “small”. I recently got my anniversary band after looking at its zoomed in photos on my phone non stop and my first reaction was the same! But not to worry, I’m sure that will look gorgeous and plenty big on her 4.5 finger!
