I am keeping my name. For legal and estate planning reasons.

However, my fiance’s ex wife has the same first/middle name as I do, from the same town I am, and born in the same month.

talk about coincidence….

My current maiden name is so uncommon, its just me. Now when I google my future name, there are several results. Oddly they are all in the UK and Australia and I am in the USA.

On a side note: just googled my SO’s name for the first time. There is a WOMAN with his same exact name on Facebook. haha, this is definitely getting saved to show him later.

I’m still deciding whether to change my name or not.  Probably won’t, but I thought I’d try googling what my name would be if I changed.  I figured it would be pretty uncommon because my first name is very English-nickname-sounding and FI’s surname is of another language, he’s from Ghana.  Tell me why, when I googled my potential name, the 2nd hit was of it on scammerlist.com?!  And the 5th was on russia-scammers.com?!  And the 8th was on romancescam.com?!  wth, damn!  my potential name match is a big time scammer!

Well, one woman is an implementation specialist, there is another that was on the TV show Monster-in-Law, and many others in their underwear. EEP.

I’m not married yet, but I know of 2 other ladies (personally) that share my married name.. I went to high schol with both of them, lol. One it’s her maiden name, and the other got married a couple of years back. I believe she’s going through a divorce at the moment, however, and is reverting back to her maiden name.

In Googling the name, there are SO MANY of ‘us’.. wow.
