So I’m looking for advice and ideas for a template for this. Everyone has heard of ceremony programs where the service is listed, wedding party, thanks, etc… But I was thinking one day, what about Reception Programs?
I’m trying to make my wedding more personal with little touches. Many times when i’m at a wedding, I don’t know who the wedding party is beyond” friend of bride” or “cousin of groom”. I was thinking that it would be fun to do up a reception program where i put in a little paragraph of how i met or how i know my bridesmaids, groomsmen etc.. I would also add a area for thanking our parents, and would explain the detail of the wedding (that I used my great grandmothers lace wedding tablecloth on my cake table, etc.) I think that it may be nice for guests to have a little “literature” to read at the reception/cocktail hour. I would probably place them on everyones plate. Wouldn’t want to go crazy fancy (wedding on a budget) but figured if I could figure out the template i could just print them on white paper in a nice font (my colors are black and white and green).
Has anyone ever seen this?
Do you think this is a good idea?
Any ideas for a template (i’m computer challenged!)
