How many spaces will you have available compared to how many families/groups of guests? I think that makes a big difference. If you think it might be tight for just a couple cars, then I would just leave it alone. If there is a true lack of space, you might need another solution. Could you possibly offer transportation from the ceremony site or hotel? Or maybe just tell close friends or family to carpool by word of mouth?

Why don’t you say “limited parking available” instead of straight out asking that people carpool? I would probably prefer to carpool with friends anyway.

I think you need to let people know it will be outside. Maybe like:

Following the ceremony, please join us on

Local Mountain

for dancing and dining in the fresh air

Reception begins at 5 o’clock and ends when the cock crows!

home of Mr. and Mrs. Smith

1111 Weddingbee Road

Anytown, USA

I like Cinnamon Roll’s wording. (I think there’s a trend here….you might be a wording guru cinnamon…)
