Hello fellow Bee’s!
I am looking for any ideas/suggestions for centerpieces at the reception. Our wedding colors are sangria purple and plum. I am open to any ideas, but would really like to make the centerpieces myself. Thanks in advance!!

Have you thought of maybe getting flowers as close to your colors infusing them with branches, greenery or white flowers in a small square vase which will make it look like a full small bouquet then have it surround by little candles… Just a thought…

What kind of budget are you looking at for the centerpieces? And how many will you need?

why dont you do a centrepiece with plums? obviously alot prettier then this though?
this way your guests can take your decorations home too!

I am looking to spend about 20-30 a piece at the most. If i could get away with spending less that would be great! Let me know if you have any ideas!!!:)

I think that submerged flowers in vases always look pretty spectacular without needing to be expensive. You can search the dollar stores for cheap glass vases.

@ashmk08: this is what we are doing with our long distance relationship themed destination wedding. Instead of pictures, I’ve also seen it done with traditional table numbers. I got all the supplies at the Dollar Tree, except the Vellum paper – which I got at Michaels with a 50% off coupon for a large packet.

I’m making flowers from paper and buying wholesale candles and sticking them in found jars/vases/glasses. Add a little ribbon, twine, paint, and I think it will work. Hopefully…
