I’m not very big on chair covers as I like the “bare” effect better. But the problem is our hotel’s chairs are kind of ugly. The top part of the chair- I can deal with. But the bottom part is just not right. How can I make this chair look better sans covers? Do you think the chair look ok as is with nothing on it?
Also further down is a picture of how these chairs will look with the covers.
Thanks in advance!

After having my wedding – I honestly wouldn’t stress about this. This is one of those things that nobody else will notice. I worried about the chairs at my venue as well and when the time finally came and everything else was decorated, NOBODY noticed the chairs. I dislike chair covers … I would just leave them alone and decorate like you planned.

TOTALLY agree with @milesbella: I have never in my life noticed the chairs at a wedding…..if you want something inexpensive to jazz them up a big, what about a sash on the chairs that are on the aisle? The would add some colour, but wouldn’t break the bank.

I wouldn’t worry about it. Those aren’t bad at all. I was never one to worry about chair covers until I ended up with a venue with heinous burgandy chairs. Needless to say, they didn’t really match with any of our colors. We did cover them up but only because they were absolutely awful. Had they been a neutral color we probably wouldn’t have worried about it.

wow, thanks for the very fast responses! your opinions will really help me weigh this thing out. and just as added info, the covers and sashes will not cost us extra as those are already part of the hotel package. thanks again!

If you don’t like them as is and they’re included, I’d cover them.

If I were you, I would just do the sashes and not the covers. I never like the way chair covers look, it always reminds me of how my mom puts a sheet across the couch so the dog can get up there, haha!
