We are getting married December 11th. My colors are dark brown and pale pink. The first one is which linens I will be using (only using pink chair sashes, not both colors to save money). The next three will be my centerpieces- the votive tree will have clear votives with pink candles. The ones with the ornaments will have pink ornaments with white candles on top. The others will have a white floating candle and some sort of pink flowers in them. The next picture will be our candy table, i have pretty much the exact same containers but dunno what kind of candy yet. Unsure on the cake, but will probably do one with a brooch similar to the pic. We are using a reception hall that doesn’t have much other decor, it’s pretty plain. We will also have a christmas tree in the corner with a pink tree skirt and pink and brown ornaments for gifts. Any suggestions, things you think I should add/change would greatly be appreciated!! I have a difficult time visualizing everything together and don’t have any other people helping me with my wedding planning!!
Thanks in advance! Everyone always gives great advice!!

Hey I like it a lot!! For the candy table, I suggest chocolate. I love chocolate, and it’s brown!!! Also, I think you should put pink flowers in the middle of the table and make the cake pink too. 🙂 Also, try DIY pink pomanders to hang from the ceiling. Use a lot of them. Google how to make tissue paper poms.

i love candy tables! i’m not sure how expensive it is, but maybe your initials on pink and brown m&ms might be cute. i love the flowers and the floating candles-are you just having one of the three per table? i’m not a huge fan of the candle tree, and i think just the flowers would be gorgeous.

@ miss, I was actually thinking of doing paper lanterns from the ceiling, but pomanders may be good. I actually haven’t decided. I thought that there needs to be something from the ceiling tho.
@ pepper, we are doing three different sizes of vases per table. I’ve noticed from showing people in my fam and wedding party that ppl either really like the tree or don’t like it.
The ornament candle pillars seem to be something people don’t comment on as often, and those are the ones I chose first, i loved them. I think they will look really good with pink ornaments in them and white candles on top. I can’t decide if I want to put them on top of a mirror or not. Same with the flower one, mirror or not? I was also thinking that the tree may look too dark on the dark brown tablecloths, so I was thinking about painting them white. Anyone have a suggestion on this? Fiance thinks I don’t need to do that, they will show up because there will be candles lit, etc. Thoughts?
