I’m trying to come up with some ways to decorate for the reception without spending a ton. Currently my awsome florist from L&R Farms is going to take apart my girls bouquets after the ceremony to use for center pieces on the tables in some milk pails. Where we are doing our reception, they provide all white tables, chairs, and plates. I would love to add some color and style, the less white the better. We have ordered mason jars (wedding is country vintage) for glasses, but the tables and chairs are starting to make me nervous. I was thinking of using some burlap as a table runner but I’m not sure. We are also out in the country, about 2 hours from anything so any idea I’m open!

Have you done some google searching for country vintage weddings? Also look for rustic.
Burlap table runners would be perfect. You can likely find these used on craigslist , Ebay, or sites like WeddingBee or Recycled Bride.
You can search all craigslist sites at the same time by going to http://www.google.com
then enter site:craigslist.org and add whatever you are looking for
e.g “site:craigslist.org burlap table runners”
or lace doilies instead of a runner
Mason jars with flowers are easy and inexpensive.
or old bottles with simple flowers
birdhouses are also country- you can get these at a craft stre and paint them yourself
a wood slab base for the cake
you could make bunting from vintage ( or reproduction) handkerchiefs, hang one from the back of the chairs, or use them for napkins
