(Closed) Reception decorating to do list???

are you doing all the decorating or is your venue taking care of anything?  are you having a florist do centerpieces or will those be diy?

@MyrellaMayte:  I guess it depends on what needs to be done. This is the order that I would do it (not really sure exactly what you have)

-any walls/ceilings/backdrops/curtains, etc.

-tablecloths and chair covers/table runners

-the head table (if you have anything special that needs to go here, it should be set up before all the other tables)

-any centerpieces (if done in several steps, do all of one step first, like if you have a base that’s a mirror put them ALL around the room first, then put the vase or whatever is your center on all of them)

-table numbers or placeholders/reserved signs

-napkins/anything else you want at each place setting (like favorrs)

-cutlery (that way if you run out of time, your guests can go to a designated area and just grab it, or someone can put it out fairly quickly before the reception starts.
