I’m so glad that it all worked out.  This is how things go. Nothing can always go the way that we planned, but it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t perfect. The two of you are married and in love and you partied all night.  The ceremony was fantastic and that’s really the only part that matters.

Plus WE CANT WAIT TO SEE THE PICS!

i think as long as no one died then enjoy how wonderful your friends were to turn it around and help make it a success and you will laugh about it in years to come – congrats

Oh, that would be so stressful!!  But I’m so glad it got better in the end. There have been tons of posts on WB about receptions gone bad in one way or another.

The worst are the ones where people’s family or friends behave badly.  Poor Mrs. Socks’ story is right up there:

The Wedding That Wasn’t

Even those of us had “perfect” weddings, still think a million things went wrong.  These boards are filled with the “woe is me” stories (including mine).  It will pass in a couple months.

I think that it is great your friends/family pulled together to save the day!

There was a news story recently about a couple who had tornadic activity ruin there wedding, but they still made it work 🙂 It ads quite a bit of character!

Sounds like things still went well, congrats on your marriage!
