(Closed) Reception Dress?

I like them if they still look somewhat ‘bridey’. I don’t like super short white ones (always makes me think it’s ‘slutty’ and ‘cheap’).

Depends on the occassion- if the couple heads of for an after party at the club then yeah, a short one would be great but if it’s at a fancy place, no.

I’m totally for a reception dress. I will be changing into mine around 11pm, when the family starts to leave and the party turns up! I agree that it’s good for the dress to look somewhat bridal, you still need to stand out. I got mine from the Lazaro Noir (Bridesmaids) collection, since all their styles were offered in Ivory as well… For me, since I am wearing a ballgown, I wanted to be able to change into something lighter at some point. If I had been wearing a sheath of even an A-line, not sure I would have gone for the 2nd party dress.
