Fabulous! I initially hated the idea of a reception dress, but found this Sue Wong for a crazy deal on Ideeli and went for it! I only wore it for maybe the last hour of the reception, but it felt great after 7 hours in a ballgown, and was a huge hit with the guests!

I don’t think that’s an appropriate dress for a reception, sorry. I honestly can’t see how that would be any easier to party and dance in…

I don’t see the point in having a second outfit for the reception. So much time and money is put into our gowns for them to only be worn for the ceremony and pictures.

I like it! And I totally understand your feeling. I’m wearing a ballgown and out of fear of being uncomfortable, I will be changing into a party dress around 11pm. I think it’s appropriate, but silver isnt very “bridey” IMO, maybe champagne would be better?

I have a reception dress….more for the practicality of dancing/being super hot in july……I tried it on this past week again, and it’s a little big now, since i’ve lost a few lbs 😀
