I love the idea of a reception dress!  However after carting mine from Perth, Australia to Auckland, New Zealand, and the fact I felt like a fairy princess, there was no way I was getting out of my dress early!  It was pretty heavy, but I swapped out heels for flats halfway through the night.  Going toilet wasn’t too bad either, I seemed to always have a couple of friends on hand to help!

windowlulu:  I have a knee length dress I got for cheap as a backup in case anything happens to my wedding gown (spills, rips, etc), or how I feel in it after 8 hours.
