It’s not really a reception dress but….. My Maid/Matron of Honor told me that the one thing she wished she had done for her wedding is that she had brought a cute dress and comfortable shoes to wear later in the night when her feet were hurting and she was sick of being in the dress. Sooo… being that we are making our Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, we made one for me too! Their dresses are navy blue billion-way-convertible dresses, mine is pink (those are our colors!) and I’ll probably have some new, blingy flip flops around too…. Just in case!

I couldn’t decide between two dresses, so I picked the Maggie Sottero Karena Royale as my reception dress.  I’m going to have it taken up a little bit in the front, like tea-length, so I can see my shoes.  Then it will taper down to full-length in the back.

I just bought a lace sheath gown– floor length, no train.  I absolutely love it but haven’t tried on any ballgowns yet, so I’m thinking if I fall in love with another one, I might use the simpler dress for the end of my reception?

I just bought this one as a just in case for the end of the night.  Not sure if i’ll wear it or not, but it was really inexpensive so I don’t feel guilty about it.

I won a dress at my local DB and went in there to talk to alterations and saw this when I walked in…. I love it! It is too big in the pic and they had a smaller sz 🙂 I got it!! It has a thim corset in the back and fits my Winter theme and wayyyy light! I have a satin mermaid to wear for the ceremony but even if I dont wear this I will sell it!
