does the disco open at 11?

I would just hang out at one of the regular bar areas… drinking until the disco opens…

Im having a destination wedding too… thats what I would do…. AND i would keep my dress on 🙂

almostmrsnyitrai:  Why not just hit up the bars in the area?? We had a DW In mexico last year and I really wanted to do that after the dinner (we didn’t do a full-on reception) but I was soo pooped by the end of the day we just crashed… But there were a ton of bars in the area/town within walking distance- including ones on the beach with swings at the bar!!

almostmrsnyitrai:  Hm…what’s your hotel situation like?  My reception ends at 9 as well so we’re just renting a conference room in the hotel for an after party.

The last time I went to a destination wedding it was a similar set up.. The ‘reception’ ended at 9 and they put on a beach party (the resort organized it though).

We drank and danced by a fire for a few hours, jumped in the pool in our wedding clothes, and then changed and headed to the disco.
