so we were thinking of some ideas for food for our wedding, and the thought of lasagna, garlic bread/regular bread and caeser salad came up. if we would spend a day making all of them and freezing them, and have someone in charge of the serving and taking care of baking them. Would that be okay? Also, we could do some classic, with spinach, and maybe a vegetarian? Is that okay to just have that for a main dish, or so there need to be more options for food? I’m open to other ideas for main dishes that make a nice option instead pf lasagna. Opinions please!! 🙂 Thankyou!

Lasagna is delicious! Have you prepared food for a large event before? I’d probably want to practice and figure out the logistics before the wedding.

thanks! I agree😋 We own a meatshop and prepare lasagna as frozen meals for retail. My mom would have a pretty good idea of how much is needed. And we have catering friends that would help figure out the numbers 🙂

Does the venue have enough ovens to heat enough pans to get the “first rush” out? If they have big ovens maybe you can get 6 half steam table pans in at once (but with that amount of food mass it’ll take some time to heat them through). You’ll also need a way to heat through the bread. As long as the kitchen facilities will support it – it sounds like you have a lot of the pieces available to make it work

Thankyou for all the things to think about! That helps a lot! 🙂 we’ll keep looking into it!

Also, how on earth would we serve it? I don’t want to go the foil pan route, especially if we premake nd freeze, and need to have it baked?

Restaurant supply store would have large metal
pans deep enough for serving!
