Other than the main entree, what is your favorite food-related part of a wedding? For example, the cocktail hour, dessert, drink selection, etc.
Did you have more food than you needed? (If you are already married)
Is there anything you as the bride would change in hindsight? Nixing one food and adding something else. Or from a guest’s standpoint, what would you have done differently?
What did you serve that your guests enjoyed more than anything? Or if you have been a guest at other weddings, what did the guests there rave about that was popular?

The chicken wasn’t as big of a hit at our wedding compared to the beef and the vegetarian option. I might have just cut that out and spent more money on fabulous appetizers! We only did a cheese platter, chip and dip bar, and seasonal fruits.

I never ever like buffet food … even if it’s the best quality … I just don’t like it. I don’t care for the buffet of desserts either – maybe I’m just anti-buffet? Lol.
I have only been to 2 weddings, and so far the best ever was the cookie that was flavored the same as the wedding cake … I will never forget that cookie!
Oh, and the raw sea food food bar freaks me out .. but I do love shrimp cocktail

I will never forget a friend’s Long Island wedding. They had a Venetian table?…hour?.. I’m not sure what they call it. But it was this massive dessert orgy. They had ice cream sundae stations, cookie stations, just about every dessert you could think of. Yes!

Hmmm, never heard of a Venetian table, do you mean Viennese table? If not, I wonder what it is! I love desserts. That sounds so amazing. What did the cookie stations consist of?

My fiance is Swedish and we are planning on doing an appetizer/cocktail reception (no sit down meal). We want everyone to enjoy fun food and mingle, not feel stuck to one seat. Anyway, since he’s Swedish, we want to set up all the appetizers on one table and call it a Smorgasboard (instead of a buffet)! Hopefully the non-Swedish guests will get it!
