SO..I have a wedding appetizer menu but im stuck on what I should have as an buffet to go along after the appetizers. Also, If you have one part of the family who drinks and one that does not can you compromise with the sparkling white grape juice just for your lovely toast????
So far this is my appetizer list
mini eggrolls with crabmeat salad on edible spoons
mini strawberry shortcakes
MACARONI & CHEESE STATIONwith an assortment of toppings-Caramelized Onions, Sautéed Mushrooms,
Chopped Jalapenos, Apple-wood Smoked Bacon Crumbles, Diced Ham & Herbed Bread Crumbs
SANDWICH SIDEBOARDPulled Pork with Savannah Slaw and Dill Pickle Chips on the sideRoast Beef on Yeast Rolls with Horseradish, BBQ, Sauce, Caramelized Onions and Sautéed Mushrooms
This is a cheese fountain
So IF you lovely ladies can give me some feedback on what you like/dont I would appreciate it soooooooooooooo much! Thanks!

There’s a lot of fish/seafood. I think I would change one of them to beef or chicken, in case someone isn’t a fish fan :).

I love the egg rolls and the macaroni station! Also, are you putting the mini strawberry shortcakes out with appetizers or when the cake comes out?

I think it all looks yummy! For the toast, I would probably try to give people an option if they want alcohol or not.

I’m not personally a fan of seafood, which most of your menu consists of. Many other people don’t like it as well. Do you know for a fact that every one of your guests loves it? Some people are allergic.
Strawberry shortcakes are considered dessert usually and not everyone will want to eat them before dinner. The sandwich and mac and cheese stations sound good. Will there be the option to have plain mac and cheese if someone doesn’t like the toppings? Most love eggrolls as well but not everyone is adventurours, especially since they have crab, and thus may not touch them. With pork or chicken, they won’t have any issues. The fountain looks interesting. I would have a card of some sort next to the fountain telling what type of cheese it is. Also, it’s not clear from the picture what you will be dippling in it, so be sure to mention that as well.

THANKS FOR ALL OF THE LADIES THAT RESPONDED! 1ST I AM FROM ALABAMA RIGHT HERE AT THE SEAPORTS SO SEAFOOD IS WHAT MOST PEOPLE EAT HERE.
JO.LEE – That is a good idea thats why I had the sandwich bar since it was appetizers, the dinner menu will have lots of meats as choices.
MANDB – they are going out when the cake does, at that time we will have an ice cream sunday stand and these also an assortment of cookies and pies (it is the south lol)
ARTBEE – Thanks! Ive been kind of worried since my fiances father is a preacher and some of the family is really religious and some not.
SELENE – I just noticed it didnt upload the pic of the mac n cheese bar. It will be plain and the toppings will be in front of it. There are alot of women here who do the mashed potato stands but since the future hubby loves the mac I had to do it for him. The fountain is something my planner told me about..its jalapeño balls, cheese balls and edible cheese straws to dip in.
THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYONE WHO HAD AN INPUT I GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!

O im sorry and the egg rolls are chicken and pork…the edible spoons on the side have crabmeat. I just noticed that that picture is a little small as well

I’d aim for some veggies or something too. We are also giving people an option between wine and sparkling juice for our toast.

the mac and cheese station sounds awesome! I love your choices!

I agree – the shortcakes are more dessert so I prob wouldn’t eat those at a cocktail hour.

It all looks great, but I’m with the others claiming too much seafood. I, for one, like seafood, but I like beef and chicken as well. If it wouldn’t bust the budget or anything, maybe switch the catfish sandwich to a roast beef slider or something. Maybe have some veggies too.
I am, however, IN LOVE with your mac n cheese station. And the cheese fountain.

In the media…That is a perfect idea about the roast beef sliders! and the egg rolls are chicken and pork! I will incorporate the veggies!
Thanks to everyone!
