This is my first time posting. I come to a wall in my planing. I already have a great place that is beautiful but the only thing is that it’s just the hall, that comes with the tables and chairs. Now I have to set up everything myself. You know the linen on the table the candy bar, the sweet heart table etc. I don’t mind but I’m just wondering if there is a venue that would do all of that for me.
See I live in Fort lee, NJ and I’m looking to bring in my own cater, alchool, bartender etc but I just want them to set up the tables with the linen, have a nice dance floor. I don’t mind renting the china, linen, tables and chairs from them. Can you guys help me?

If you can fit it in your budget, I suggest getting a day of coordinator. The vendors you hire should be setting up everything themselves; talk to your caterer about setting up the china and the linen people about setting up the linens. They may charge for this, but it will save you the worry. If you can hire a day of she/he will have other suggestions that will help you and she/he will also be able to direct the other vendors on how to set up the items you want set up. For example, you would want the linens on the tables before the place setting, etc. She/he can also set up your candy bar, your sweetheart table, etc.

With that much set up you DEFINITELY need a day-of coordinator.
Also ask the hall when things can be set up so your coordinator will know how much time s/he has and how many assistants to bring along to accomplish the task in that time.
