i like it! very classy and i loooooooooooove all the windows! i don’t think it will be plain, i think it’ll be elegant :]

for decorating advice, the only think i can think of is just enhancement – you can always dress up the pillars or add some fabric above or in between the windows. but it looks like the tables and centerpieces will easily be the focus and with all of the windows, the view is like a free decoration.

There’s no color in that photo. Everything blends in together and I had to look to see if there were even centerpieces. I think for a room like this, the centerpiece is going to be the one that brings it together. What are your colors?

@Miss Tattoo: you hit the nail on the head with the color.

@Kristen0160: is your reception during the evening/night?

THat view is spectacular. The only thing about it is I agree with Miss Tattoo–it’s a bit on the cold and institutional. But it’s hard to find a venue that has EVERYTHING–your guests will totally delight in the windows so don’t cover them up!

You need tall centerpieces.

You can still use the vases, but add flowers on TOP of the vase. that will add height and color.

i agree with DeaconBride… some color to make it pop, or if you can fill the vases with something more substantial and colorful. if they’re just clear then it might be too stark with all of the white on white

Oooh…then lots of candles and lighting if you can.  I think it would look amazing!

I say candles and low colorful centerpieces- or just candles- which will draw your eyes to the table and not the ceiling. Also- this pic isn’t at eye level so it’s a bit deceiving- you’re seeing a lot of drab ceiling and people won’t be looking at that.
