Hoping that someone can help me…. So I have booked the venue for the ceremony, cocktail AND reception. I love that it’s all in the same place. Everything is beautiful and perfect… EXCPET for the wallpaper in the ballroom for the reception. I’m really not crazy picky I swear… but this wallpaper will crazy clash with my blue, black and white FORMAL wedding…
SO I’m turning this to you, you craft creative bees! Any ideas on how to make this work? I asked about draping, but they said because of how we would have to do it it would cost an absolute FORTUNE. 🙁 So any help would be SOOOO appreciated! Thanks!

Check out the cost of getting photos- you and Fiance, wedding photos of families etc -blown up in black and white, and placed on cardstock or Lauan plywood (it’s very thin) that fits between the two sets of mouldings. If you measure carefully, it will almost hold itself in place.
To cut down on the cost of all the photos, you could do some sections in plain white or black.

That’s a good idea, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to do that. I think it will still be too expensive. I have everything pretty tightly budgeted and I just think that would put us too far over 🙁

what about doing draping panels rather than covering the whole thing? Or could you dim the lights around the walls and do different lighting to take attention away from the wallpaper?
