It sounds like a great idea, but I am with you, how would that all come together?  I would also be afraid that some of that stuff got damaged or misplaced.

Could you use the items to make scrapbook pages and then use them as your table numbers?  Then it will be displayed, but you could make it look put together on the pages?  As a bonus, when you’re done with the wedding, just put the pages in a scrapbook and you have a great memento.

Or what about one of those ribbon boards to display the items:

You could use ribbon and fabric colors that match your decor and have it displayed somewhere (like during the cocktail hour, or near the guest book).

What about a shadow box? You could display it at the guestbook table.

Or you could do a collage within a picture frame along the same lines.

One of my favorite wedding ideas is the "Couples Table" near the guest book where you put pictures of your courtship, special items, etc.  Whenever I go to a wedding, I love seeing these and becoming more familiar with the bride and groom.  You could always do something like this, space-allowing, and put your memory items in a shadowbox as Newport Nuptials suggested.

I saw a wedding where the bride scanned all of them into the computer, and made them into a Blurb guest book. Super cute, and not cluttered at all!

What about scanning them and having them printed on a table runner or table cloth for the cake table?

Could you use them as the table "name" instead of having table numbers?  Like you could copy the stub, maybe blow it up.  Then put it on a nice cardstock, or whatever,.  And label the table marker as the "Lakers Game" Table, "Marley & Me" Table, "Larry the Cable Guy" Table.  I would think if you did that, you would have to write a heading like that.  To simply have the stubs, even if blown up, would cause guests to have to go around inspecting and reading each table marker to identify which is their’s.

And then it would give the guests somethig fun to talk about.  I ahd a friend do something similar, I think with pictures. It was a great idea.  Wish I had thought of that.
