Does it have a lighting system? That alone will kick it up a few notches.

It can be a bit pricey, but if you can swing it getting draping and uplighting can transform any space into an amazing wedding venue!

You don’t want to do draping by yourself, it’s a pretty professional thing. Where is the wedding? It seems really odd there would be no one anywhere near the area that can do uplighting.

I totally saw where this couple rented a parachute (didn’t know you could do that-apparently they said it was cheap, like 50 bucks) and used it as decor for the ceiling. It was GORGEOUS! I think draping the walls or the ceiling and lights can make the room.

This is the picture…in the upper left corner (ignore the other pics…)

To me what gives a gym a gym-like feel is the stripes on the floor. Maybe see about bringing in a dance floor to place on top of the floor so that when people are dancing they don’t feel like they are on the 3 point line? 😉

@hunnybee123: Yeah, I’d definitely do some more internet searching, maybe see if there is a local board for your area on the knot. I’d try to help but since I don’t know what area you need someone in there’s not much to go on. But some things are outt here and just take some searching to find!

@Mrs.tobe: Oh my gosh I love this! I wonder if we could hang one ourselves… off to research!
