I am thinking about buying some basic invitations in order to cut down the cost there and because we’re keeping it “classy & simple”, so they’ll go well! Anyway, most of the basic kits don’t have extra cards for reception info. Is it okay to put this on the invitation? We’re having a Nuptial Mass, too.
It’d have to say something like:
Reception to follow at 5 o’clock in the evening

Lots of people put the reception info on the same invitation. Your “reception to follow” line is perfect. If people will have to drive themselves to the reception after the ceremony, I recommend including the location of the reception venue too, or enclosing a small map.

Thats almost exactly what we did for our invites. Our ceremony is at 2:30 in the afternoon, and theres about a 40 minute drive in between so our reception isn’t starting until 5 pm so at the bottom of our invite we had
“Reception to follow at The Glen Sanders Mansion beginning at five in the evening”
