Is there a trick for not spending very much on reception lighting and getting a great look? Im on a strict budget…meaning my goal isnt a certain price point…its just to spend as little as possible while getting the fanciest look. Value! 🙂
I thought of asking the reception hall if I could switch out their normal light bulbs with flattering pink ones, but the ceiling is probably to high up…And I thought about hanging a bunch of white christmas lights since we already have those…is that tacky?
I will probably use a lot of tea lights, but those won’t compensate for the main lighting.
What i want to achieve is soft flatterling lighting for a spring themed wedding. My main color is fushia/passion purple but Ill be using tulips and other spring time flowers of all warm colors to decorate the hall. I think candle light and pink light sounds the most flattering and spring-like.
Anyone have any tips for this novice bride? 🙂
