I’ve been looking for a great beachside location in Fairfield County, still no luck. I noticed a bunch of <span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-style: italic”>beautiful locations all over CT though. Sigh…

My Fiance and I are getting married at our church in Avon, CT… but our reception will be at The Heritage Hotel in Southbury, CT. We wanted something different but would be convenient for our guests. The hotel has a traditional banquet hall (the Glass Room) that opens up to a beautiful courtyard. We were sold when we went into the 8 Mile Brook room. It is like a cathedral/barn. We love the cathedral ceilling and the exposed beams. We have run with the whole "wood" theme. I grew up in the woods… so why wouldn’t it get carried on to the wedding?!
