Personally, I love me some 80’s.  This is especially true after I’ve had a few drinks in me 🙂

@RahlyRah:  I def want some 80s at my reception. There will be Hall and Oates for sure.  I’m doing the ipod dj thing for mine and having my brother be in charge of playing songs.  I’m 34 and Fiance is 31 and most of our guests will be our age so we are thinking of having a lot of 90s music as well. Me and him LOVE 90s rock/alternative and so do many of my friends.  Due to nature of the reception and size I really don’t see people dancing anyways so might as well have good music playing.

And NO chicken dance or silly stuff like that.  No techno-y stuff, no rap, no hip hop either.  Me and Fiance are not fans of that type of music at all.

A mix. I want to dance with my dad to some old Glenn Miller. But I want to shake it with my high school and college buddies to some of our old 80’s.

But I also want Moves Like Jaggar because it makes Fiance laugh.

I love hearing Wagon Wheel.

At a recent wedding, Long Night is Over got a ton of people dancing.

It def. depends on your guests and whether or not your friends know what it is, but when the Time Warp comes on during a wedding, it MAKES MY FRIKKEN LIFE! I don’t dance at all but I will do the Time Warp like a frikken champ.

Brick House always gets me moving. You can’t go wrong with some good Motown too.

Was at a wedding recently and the oldest lady in the group was having a blast with- There’s a Party In The House Tonight!!!

We will have a large mix of age groups at our wedding. I am planning on doing alot of “oldies” from the 50’s and 60’s that everybody knows and cant help but singing along to. I am also going to do some more recent and some 80’s thrown in there for me and my girls!

@Roe:  I love that song! I plan on playing wagon wheel to!!!

It Takes 2 – Rob Base – This should be played at Every Wedding… form a circle and everyone takes turns busting out moves in the centre…
