Honestly it was too much work for me to do that. I loved my dj and his taste. He was a dj at numerious events for differnt people. We gave him some our artist/taste plus cuban music for my mil side of the family. He did a great job that way. 

I did ask him not to do too much line dances.

I’m a fan of swing & big band music for weddings, but since not everybody will dance to that, I’m picking some electro swing music like Istanbul (Not Constantinople) by Bart & Baker. Also, I love Club Des Belugas. One of their songs was on dancing with the stars, I think, Hip Hip Chin Chin.

i’ve just got a google drive spreadsheet that I can access from pretty much anywhere that I add songs to as I think of them.  I find it’s a pretty good method for me.

Our main “do not play” songs are all line dances – none of those can happen, period, we will leave our own wedding haha.  To each her own though 🙂
