I am getting a quote today for my venue and before sending in the request want to know what you Bees did/will do for the seating at the reception. The ceremony is for 150 guests… it is outdoor and we are renting the tent through the venue but everything else must come from an outside vendor.
So, if we need 150 chairs for the ceremony, how many tables/chairs do we plan for the reception? I know we will need about 6-8 rectangle tables for food and carving stations ( we are doing a buffet style dinner), as well as about 15-20 round tables for seating for 150 people. I have heard that you do not need to match the exact numbers for reception seating as the ceremony because not everyone will be sitting down, is this correct?
The round tables are 60 inches ( seat about 8?) and the chairs are Samsonite.. don’t know if that makes a difference to y’all or not! We also will have the lighting provided by the venue and DJ, and are not renting a dance floor through this company either, just strictly tables and chairs.
