(Closed) \"Reception\" Setup?

Since it’s a small reception, why not have the tables set up like the huge square? That way people can talk without there being too much space between them. Also, maybe limit your centerpieces to every other guest so the space isn’t overwhelmed visually.

mrstbone:  With so few people I would absolutely say go for the large squre table or one long one. If you go for the big able all pushed together I would opt for lower centerpieces so that people can see across the table to talk. 

You can stagger a few items to form a ‘center’. Personally I’d use different size hurricane and bud vases. Each different level would get a different flower of the same color/shade. This is the closest pic I could find. See how the smallest bud vase has rannuculus, then there are tulips, hydrangeas, and roses, all in different height containers. Yet it looks great (I think)
