- Wedding: March 2016
My Fiance and I are having a very small wedding of ~20 people or under, and we’re going out to a formal dinner afterward. It won’t be a traditional reception — we won’t have dancing, cake cutting, etc. — it will just be a family dinner with a guest book, finger print tree, and cupcake tower basically.
We’re having a private room booked so we can keep it just family, and I have a question about table arrangements. We have the following options: each table is independent like a traditional reception, we have the tables pushed together to form long rectangles, or we have the tables pushed together to form a huge square with an empty middle. I kind of like the last idea, but I don’t know how to go about centerpieces for that setup.
I’ve always imagined eiffel tower vases with baby’s breath or roses, but the more I think about it, the more I think we should do little vases with small balls of roses or something between each guest or every other guest… Hmm I have no idea! I’m at a loss.
I already have the perfect setup for the cupcake tower (providing I’m even allowed to bring in an outside cake) and the guestbook table so that isn’t a big deal.
Thank you in advance for your advice!
